49th Annual Proviso West Holiday Tournament: Let the Show Begin

Christmas is just around the corner and you know what that means. The Proviso West Holiday Tournament is soon to begin.  This year's tournament will begin on Saturday, December 26th and culminate on Wednesday the 30th  with the championship contest.  This year's tournament will play host to a field of outstanding teams packed with the area's top ranked players and teams. This outstanding lineup will include the 2009 state champion Whitney Young Dolphins as well as the 2008 Proviso West champion Morton Mustangs.  Also perennial powers Glenbrook North and Hillcrest, ranked 5 and 7 respectively by the Sun-Times Mike O'Brien are sure to make their presence felt.  PW Hoops also welcomes returning member of the original PW tournament, Hinsdale Central.  The field is rounded out by a plethora of great teams that are sure to make this a tournament to remember ...  More

It's a bird!  It's a plane! It's... Taking It to New Heights; a new and exciting television variety show that truly spreads it wings and takes flight.  Taking It to New Heights iprofsystems, training software, computer consultings an unusual success in many ways.   To begin with, it is entirely run by a team of dedicated youth.  It is brought to you by a group of college student seeking to illuminate many hidden gems in pop culture.  Modern America is too often concerned with the glamour of the mainstream and completely misses out on the jewels of the underground. 

Taking It to New Heights  brings its audience new works of entertainment, art, fashion, events, and any other cultural medium that does not get the light it deserves.  This includes independent film, avant-garde fashion, up and coming musicians, community events, and even interesting people.
